About Ruth Gitto

ruth gitto

I was born, not with a golden spoon in my mouth, but rather with a camera in my hand. While some children memorized the multiplication table, my dad, John H. Popper, had me memorizing aperture and shutter speed combinations.
I’ve attended the Leica School, the Nikon School, and the Rollei School. I’ve also gone to The Santa Fe Photographic Workshop, The Maine Photographic Workshop, and the Woodstock Photographic Workshop. I have taught photography, worked in the Audio Visual Industry, and the Professional Broadcast Video Industry, and for sixteen years owned a photographic equipment store.
